With over 15 years in the diamond industry — including a decade leading the India business at Rapaport — Pooja Duggal brings unmatched expertise, global relationships, and a deep commitment to ethical transformation. As a GIA-certified gemologist and lifelong jewelry aficionado, she has always believed that luxury can be both brilliant and conscious.
The idea for Escape Privé was born not in a boardroom, but in conversations between friends — women who love to travel, explore, and express themselves through jewelry — but who felt anxious about wearing heirloom pieces in cities like Paris, London, or Rome. Pooja felt it too. That mix of beauty and fear. So she created something new: luxury that travels with you, without worry — paired with a commitment to sustainability.
Today, Escape Privé combines lab-grown brilliance, real gold, and ethical sourcing with timeless design — and Pooja personally oversees every piece that leaves the atelier. But her vision extends beyond the sparkle. Pooja also wants to build Artisan Academy, investing in the next generation of talent — creating pathways for women and underrepresented artisans to master their craft and build their own legacy.
